About Me

Screen Shot 2021-03-16 at 5.00.43 PM.png

I completed my Master's in the Mental Health Counseling program at Teachers College, Columbia University, alongside an advanced certificate in Sexuality, Women, and Gender with an LGBTQ+ focus. I received psychodynamic training and supervision while interning at the Fordham University's Counseling Center (Lincoln Center).

I've also been a research associate with The Mental Health Coalition since 2021, where I help serve as a consultant and writer for resources to destigmatize and educate around mental health topics (e.g., neurodiversity, social justice, mindfulness).

In addition to therapy, I have a 200-hr Yoga Teacher Certification. I began learning about Eastern philosophy and religion at a young age and I enjoy attending workshops and retreats on topics related to meditation and spirituality.

I'm originally from Lakeland, Florida and I try to visit my family often. In my free time, I like to go to the movies, play video games, spend time in nature, and I'm an avid lover of all things anime, music, and theatre.

"The question of meaning in life is, as the Buddha taught, not edifying.

One must immerse oneself into the river of life and let the question

drift away."
